Great shot! And I appreciate the way you set your watermarks. Many other just place them right in the middle without any thought and that way disabling any view of their photos. Yours is placed with thought and doesn't harm the impression.
One thing about the bridle: It appears that the bit guard pushes right into the mouth of the horse. Inspite of its purpose to protect the horse, in this case I think it hurts him. Maybe the cheekpieces were to loose or the bit itself too small.
thank you i think it could just be a moment in time type of shot, the rider is a very accomplished horse woman who is very involved with the grooming and prep of her horse with years of experience. She has competed at the grand prix level for years and her horses are always in good form, i doubt that anything would be wrong with the bridle/bit at this level.
On your photo the rider looks like a youth rider. Since I got curios I found this pic of her: [link] Still looks young, but more like an experienced rider. On that photo, with a different tack, you can also see that the horses mouth does have some lighter pigmented parts (on the other side). So maybe that is reasonable part of the effect.
i've used it for awhile, i alternate between the butterfly and the full written watermark depending on the photo. this one didnt have the space for the written watermark, so i chose the butterfly.
