Fairytale

Well, I don`t write critiques very often, but since I like this image, I`ll give myself a try. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>
So, what I like in this picture? Well, of course that nice feel of a warm, sunny summer evening. Smell of the grass and flowers, warmth of a horse body...
Let`s be honest, the way you captured those feelings isn`t very complicated, but I think that sometimes simplicity is very useful and this, in my opinion, is the case. That`s why you have an average score in originality, but it doesn`t ruin the impact and that is the most important thing. Here you can see that you don`t always need very expensive gear or setup to have a image that stays in your mind and heart. That sometimes is even harder to achieve.
I love the saddleless horse and the bare feet of the rider. That gives a feeling of freedom, peace and friendship. The dark dress contrasts with white horse body and fits well together with black bridle. Maybe I would have composed this shot in a bit different way, letting the rear of the horse fill the frame but you have let a bit of space in front of it and included the little bugs and the nice butterfly (it`s added in post production, right?), so I think that this also is a good choice.
Overall, my conclusion is:
A simple and "easy going" image with lots of impact and feelings inside.
